Notifications In EasyDesk

Notifications help users track important system activities inside EasyDesk. Alerts appear when events occur, such as user role changes, team updates, or system actions. Every notification provides quick visibility into what happened and when it occurred. 

Where To Find Notifications 

Follow the steps below to access notifications: 

 

  1. Open the left sidebar. 

  1. Click Notifications under the Others section. 

  1. The notifications panel opens. 

The notification counter beside the menu shows the number of unread alerts. 

Notification Tabs Explained 

New Tab 

The New tab displays all unread notifications. 

 

Key details include: 

  • Shows latest system updates first 

  • Displays event description and timestamp 

  • Updates automatically when new activity occurs 

When no updates exist, an empty state message appears indicating no current notifications. 

Previous Tab 

The Previous tab contains older or already viewed notifications. 

 

Important points: 

  • Stores notification history 

  • Helps track past system actions 

  • Useful for audit or reference 

Example events: 

  • New user added 

  • Role changed 

  • Group updates 

  • System configuration changes 

How Notifications Work 

Notifications trigger automatically when system events occur. No manual setup is required. 

Workflow: 

  1. System detects an event 

  1. Notification gets generated 

  1. Alert appears in the new tab 

  1. After viewing, it moves to Previous 

Best Practices for Using Notifications 

  • Check notifications regularly to stay updated 

  • Use Previous tab for activity tracking 

  • Monitor role and permission changes carefully
