Collaborators allow external stakeholders to stay informed about conversations without giving them full agent access. EasyDesk provides a simple way to invite, manage, edit, and control collaborator for access from a single location.
Access Collaborators Settings
Follow these steps to open collaborator settings:
1. Go to Settings → Users & Roles
2. Click the Collaborators tab
3. View the collaborator list or invite new collaborators
Collaborators appear in a separate tab from users because they have limited permissions.
Invite A Collaborator
Steps to invite a collaborator:
1. Click Invite collaborator
2. Enter the collaborator’s email address
3. Click Invite
EasyDesk sends an invitation email automatically.
Manage Collaborators
After invitation acceptance, collaborators appear in the list with status information.
Available management actions:
Edit collaborator details
Change email address
Deactivate collaborator access
Click on the three-dot menu beside a collaborator to access these options.
Edit Collaborator Details
Steps to update collaborator information:
1. Click the action menu
2. Select Edit
3. Update first name and last name
4. Click Save
Changes apply immediately.
Change Collaborator Email
Steps to update email:
1. Open collaborator actions menu
2. Click Change email
3. Enter the new email address
4. Save changes
EasyDesk updates collaborator contact details instantly.
Deactivate A Collaborator
Deactivate option removes access without deleting history.
Steps:
1. Open the actions menu
2. Select Deactivate
3. Confirm the action
Deactivated collaborators cannot view future conversations.
Collaborator settings help teams keep stakeholders informed without compromising ticket security. Proper access control ensures collaborators stay updated while agents maintain full support responsibilities.
